How it works - Attractions

MEMBERSHIP
Listing on the Discover Travel & Tours groups websites will be FREE of charge until 31st December 2007. Subsequent year’s membership fee will be calculated as follows:

Paid Attractions - 10% of the previous year’s turnover generated by mygrouptour.com and other Discover Travel & Tours sales activity. No turnover = no fee
Free Attractions - £100 fee if we have generated business in the previous year (this may be reduced for smaller attractions staffed by volunteers)

LOADING GROUP RATES

It is important that you always load the group admission rates that you want the Group Organisers to see on the site. Any special prices you have negotiated with Discover Travel & Tours will be uploaded by our data management team.

ADVERTISING

You can if you wish take advantage of our optional low-cost advertising. Group Organisers viewing your free listing can click a “see more details” button to view a full web advertisement which you can update online as often as you like. The cost is just £200+VAT (€300) for 1 page or £500(€700) for 5 pages for a whole year.

TERMINATION

Participation in the Discover Travel & Tours groups websites will continue until you notify us in writing at our registered address of your intention to withdraw from membership at the end of the current operating season. All confirmed bookings placed through the Discover Travel & Tours websites up the date of withdrawal from membership will be honoured by you on current membership terms.

BOOKINGS

All group bookings will be confirmed with a Discover Travel & Tours Group Confirmation e-mail and the visit should not be regarded as confirmed until this is received.

RECONFIRMATION

For each group booked Discover Travel & Tours will email you 18.00hrs 28 days prior to the tour departure date to reconfirm or cancel the booking. Provided that these terms are adhered to no penalty or cancellation charge shall be levied by the supplier.

VOUCHERS

Final numbers will be confirmed by voucher which will be presented by the group leader on arrival.

PAYMENT

You claim payment from Discover Travel & Tours on completion of the tour, for settlement within 30 days by BACS transfer directly into your bank account. A remittance advice will be issued by us with every payment.

REGULATIONS

It is assumed that, at all times, you shall comply with all national and international laws regarding customer service and safety. Discover Travel & Tours shall not accept any responsibility for action or claims arising out of the supplier’s failure to comply with legal requirements.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

After the initial completion of the questionnaire (see later screen) you can visit the site at any time thereafter to update information online. This should ensure that details information shown about your business on the site are accurate and up to date. Discover Travel & Tours will not accept responsibility for claims arising out of inaccurate, out of date or misleading information shown about your business.
